How much does rubbish removal cost?
Mixed waste loads start from £140 for a mini load (2 yd³). Single items are priced per item plus a one-off £75 call-out fee per booking. Green waste starts from £150, wood waste from £180, and hardcore is a flat £250. You'll always see the full price breakdown before you confirm — no hidden charges.
What is the £75 call-out fee and when does it apply?
The £75 call-out fee is a single charge added to single-item bookings — it covers the crew, van, and travel to your address. It's charged once per booking, no matter how many items you add. Load-size collections, green waste, hardcore, and wood waste do NOT have a call-out fee — the price you see is the price you pay.
What happens to my waste after collection?
We sort everything at our licensed transfer station. Over 95% of what we collect is recycled or repurposed — reusable furniture goes to charity, green waste is composted, metal is scrapped, and hardcore is crushed for aggregate. Only non-recyclable residue goes to energy-from-waste facilities, never straight to landfill. You receive a digital Waste Transfer Note for every collection.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold Environment Agency waste carrier licence CBDU521430, £5 million public liability insurance, and all our crew are DBS-checked. We provide full duty of care documentation including Waste Transfer Notes for every job.
Can I get same-day collection?
In most cases, yes — particularly for addresses in Rugby, Coventry, and surrounding towns. Book before 11am and we can usually have a crew to you the same day. Same-day is subject to availability — we'll confirm your slot within 30 minutes of booking.
What counts as a "single item" versus a "load"?
A single item is one distinct piece — one sofa, one mattress, one fridge, one wardrobe. If you've got several items, it might actually be cheaper to book a Mini Load (£140, up to 2 yd³) instead of paying per-item plus the call-out fee. Our booking system will automatically suggest this if it saves you money.
Do you charge extra for stairs or difficult access?
For standard access (ground floor, or up to one flight of stairs), there's no extra charge. If access requires special effort, we'll let you know before we start — never after. Just mention access details when booking.
When do I pay?
You don't pay anything when you submit a booking request — no payment needed now. Once our team confirms the slot and price, you can pay by cash on collection.
